Plastic, aesthetic, and reconstructive surgery in the face and cervix (neck) area
Plastic surgery is a branch of surgery that deals with surgical interventions aimed at eliminating deformities and defects of any organ, tissue or surface of the human body. Plastic surgery can be divided into two main types — reconstructive and aesthetic.
Reconstructive plastic surgery helps to eliminate deformities, defects of tissues and organs, and restore their functions using plastic surgery methods.
Aesthetic plastic surgery is the application of plastic surgery methods to improve the appearance. A successful reconstructive or aesthetic operation can radically change a person's quality of life, helping them regain a sense of full life.
We perform the following types of operations:
Face and cervix lifting - is the lifting of soft tissues in the area of face and cervix to eliminate age-related wrinkles.
Rhinoplasty - is a surgical intervention in the area of nose tissues. It could be aesthetic and reconstructive. The aim of aesthetic rhinoplasty is the change of the nose shape and size. While, the reconstructive rhinoplasty takes place when the nose tissues are damaged partially or completely, e.g. due to road traffic accident trauma, bite of a dog or person, and other injuries. The nose reconstruction is carried out in 2-4 stages depending on the severity of the affection.
Otoplasty - is a surgical intervention in the area of external ear tissues. The aesthetic otoplasty implies elimination of such defect as protruding ears. The reconstructive otoplasty is carried out in the case of external ear traumas of diverse nature, as well as, in the case of inborn anotia (partial or complete absence of external ear).
Blepharoplasty – is a surgical intervention in the area of upper and low eyelids with the aim to eliminate age-related wrinkles. As well, the blepharoplasty is carried out to reconstruct the eyelid by nearby tissues after different injuries.
Skin transplantation in the face area – is used to treat the face skin defects resulting from different traumas (burns, the inflammatory process consequences, gunshot wounds and other injuries).
Scar removal – involves the dermabrasion (polishing of scar) by the way of surgical intervention and as a consequence its removal.
Cheiloplasty - is the surgical change of the shape of lips. The reconstructive surgery is performed in the case of various lip injuries and with defects of various sizes.
